Born and raised in a quaint far-away town, you experienced a traumatizing natural disaster. A violent storm tore through the settlement and its people. An event of its intensity had never before been seen by your people. In a matter of minutes, the storm destroyed everything you had ever known, and you found yourself alone, likely to be the only survivor.
You survived by sheer luck and instinct, making your way through the snow and ice, scavenging what little you could find.
Eventually, you stumbled upon a small group of travelers who took you in and taught you how to survive in the harsh winter wilderness. From them, you learned the skills of a survivalist and picked up an artisan's trade to support yourself.
Now, you carry the weight of your past with you wherever you go, and your aura of sorrow and grief can sometimes make others feel uneasy. But you have also learned to use your experiences to connect with others who have suffered loss, and to find strength in your own resilience.
You carry an aura of melancholy and sorrow with you, which can make others feel uneasy or sad around you. When interacting with NPCs who are not hostile towards you, you can choose to project this aura, making them more likely to open up to you and share their own sorrowful experiences. However, doing so may also cause them to feel sadness or empathy for your own troubles.
