There are many places where treasure can be found, and they often differ a lot in the required skills to make it out with your backpack filled to the brim with bounty. Thus, most treasure hunters have a preferred target, one they feel comfortable with looting. Choose your preferred target or roll on the table below.

d4 Preferred Target
1 Dungeon
2 Abandoned Castle
3 Burial Tomb
4 Sunken Shipwreck

Feature: Ear for Rumor

You can reliably find traces of truth in rumors to make out the location of different points of interest, like a dungeon or a sunken merchants ship. If you spend at least three hours in a social place, like a tavern, and expends a minimum of 10 GP, you gain knowledge of the location of the nearest preferred target you choosed or rolled in the table. If there aren't any of your preferred target in the area, you instead must spend 15 GP and four hours, and gets the location of the nearest point of interest, no matter the type. The gold you spend represent the cost of food and alcohol you buy to make the locals talk, as well as bribes to local plunderers.
