Desperate and brutal, Blood Pit Fighters are almost always forced into combat. Where gladiators are as much entertainer as they are warrior, a Blood Pit Fighter is engaged in a simple savage fight for their life. Their "patrons" use extortion, kidnapping, debt, hostages, and other nefarious means to force their combatants into fighting for blood sport and for the profit of their patron. Former blood pit fighters have had to resort to desperate means to leave the pit behind.  Few live long enough to even consider escaping, those that do, will often kill or cross their patrons to escape. This can lead them to be hunted and pursued.

Equipment: An inexpensive but unusual weapon, the trophy from a defeated enemy, a costume, and a pouch containing 15 gp

Furtive, isolationist, hunted and desperate, pit fighters are always looking over their shoulder. They change their name regularly and stay on the move to avoid having those they crossed from finding them.
