Prerequisite: Gnome (deep gnome)
You have inherited the innate spellcasting ability of your ancestors. This ability allows you to cast nondetection on yourself at will, without needing a material component. You can also cast each of the following spells once with this ability: blindness/deafness, blur, and disguise self. You regain the ability to cast these spells when you finish a long rest.
Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells, and you cast them at their lowest possible levels.

For the same reason you can add fire immunity if you dont have it: house rules
It's as good as it was unless you only cast Nondetection on yourself, which would be wasting the 1 free cast on anyone that MotM deep gnomes get.
> Shoot, this feat is kind of useless now with the MoM update.
not at all! Now you can cast Disguise Self twice a day, and still get Blur + Blindness.
For my abjuration deep gnome, I have her use her racial Nondetection to cast it on the area where the party is sleeping during the long rest. That way the entire party is immune to divination while we sleep, in addition to my gnome being permanently immune to being divined otherwise.
If you have access to this spell and you're not a deepgnome then it's because you have prerequisites for feats disabled
maybe you have prerequisites turned off for feats
That's a cheap way to play any race/"species" and grant them the Svirfneblin Magic feat without actually being a Deep Gnome.
The same exact thing happened when they created the Gloom Stalker Ranger subclass. You can use that particular subclass in order to circumstantiate the innate abilities of a Deep Gnome and still play an Elf, a Human, or whatever race.
