You have advanced martial training that allows you to perform a special defensive strategy as part of the standard Dodge action. You gain the following benefits:

• If you avoid being hit by the target of this skill during their turn after declaring a Dodge action on your turn, you force your attacker to make a saving throw to resist a special Counter Attack effect that is performed as part of this modified Dodge action; the saving throw DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice). 
• On a fail, the attacker is successfully "counter-attacked" and must spend his action next turn to recover his footing. 
• You gain the initiative with this opponent for the remainder of the combat.  For example, on opponent's initiative order, you would attack them (and only them) first in all subsequent turns.  If you already have the initiative, nothing changes.
• You gain an AC bonus equal to half your Proficiency Bonus (rounded down) when you perform the Dodge action.
