WARNING: This Feat does not have any effect on character sheets yet! What you're looking at is a work in progress! please tell me what you think of this feat. or if it needs to be turned into something else like a subclass due to how large it is. (however, I believe any class could bend the elements).

Through Meditation and discipline, or dumb luck, you have gained the ability to bend one of the four elements. 

By taking this Feat you can pick one of the 4 given bending styles,

You are allowed to take this feat again to gain additional bending styles.

SPECIAL RULES:
All spells that require charges to cast can only regain charges through long rests and must roll one dice at the end of that rest. they may roll one dice for each bending style they have taken on. They may roll a D4 at 4th level, a D6 at 6th level, and a D8 at 8th level. The number of available charges is equal to, or half of the player's level.

Cantrips do not have any special rules around them requiring their usage

All material costs for spells cast through this feat are ignored. the only requirement is that you have a source of the chosen element available.
Fire is an exception to the rule that requires a source of the element to cast the spell. you are able to conjure any fire you require.

spells can be cast at a higher level by expending charges at a cost of 1 per level until Level 5 (level 5 costs 1 charge). all levels after that cost 2 charges to increase the level of the spell. this rule applies to spells that are cast without using charges

Charges are shared across all bending styles.

note: if you wish to spend charges on a spell that can only be cast a limited number of times per day, you must spend at least one initial extra change, Example: to cast Dragons Breath at a higher level you would first have to spend a single charge (regardless of the level of the spell), and THEN spend charges to increase the level of the spell.


 

  • Fire bending
    your spellcasting ability is CON
    4th level:
    Gain the "Firebolt" Cantrip
    Gain the "Produce Flame" Cantrip
    Gain the "Control Flames" Cantrip
    able to Cast Burning Hands (Charges)
    6th level:
    able to cast "Dragons Breath" once per day
    able to cast "investiture of Flame" (charges)
    able to cast Flame Blade. (Charges)
    12th level:
    able to cast "Flame Strike" once per day.
    able to cast "Dragons Breath" half as many times as your player level. (Charges)
    18th Level:
    Able to cast "Flame Strike" twice per day
    Able to create 4 jets of flame from your palms and feet to give you flight speed equivalent to half of your walking speed. lasts for 5 minutes. casting spells or bending more flame consumes all movement. (dash action still applicable)
    after a turn of non-stop movement (action/bonus action spent to dash+movement used) movement will return to normal until the player stops moving or casts a spell.
    "Dragons Breath" can now be cast as many times as player level (charges) 
    20th level:
    your breath weapon becomes equivalent to that of an adult red dragon. Note: this cone of fire can be conjured from the hand if preferred.

  • Earth bending
    your spellcasting ability is CON
    4th Level:
    You can move across difficult terrain made of earth or stone without expending extra movement.
    Gain the "Mold Earth" cantrip
    able to cast "Meld into Stone" twice per day
    able to cast "Earth Tremor" once per day
    able to cast "Stone shape" half as many times as your player level. (Charges)
    Able to cast "Stone skin" half as many times as your player level. (Charges)
    6th level:
    Able to cast "Stone Skin as many times as your player level (charges)
    Able to cast "Erupting Earth" half as many times as your player level (Charges)
    Able to cast "Investiture of Stone" (charges)
    able to cast "Maximilians Earthen Grasp" once per day
    12th level:
    able to cast "wall of stone" half as many times as your player level (charges)
    able to cast the "Bones of the Earth" spell once per day.
    "Investiture of sone" can now be cast twice per day
    18th Level:
    Able to cast "Earthquake" once per day
    "Bones of the Earth" can now be cast Twice per day
    20th Level:
    Metal is affected by all earth-bending spells

  • Airbending
    Spellcasting ability is Dex
    4th level:
    Gain the "Gust" cantrip
    Able to cast "Feather fall" as many times as your player level
    Able to cast "Warding Wind" once per day
    Able to cast "Gust of Wind" twice per day
    6th level:
    Able to cast "Control Winds" once per day
    Able to cast "Investiture of wind" (charges)
    Able to cast "jump" (charges)
    Able to cast "wind Walk" once per day
    can now cast "Gust of wind" half as many times as your player level (charges)
    12th level:
    Able to cast "Freedom of the winds" 3 times per day
    Able to cast "whirlwind" once per day
    Able to cast "Sky write" once per day, Needs to be a cloudy day.
    18th level:
    Able to cast "Storm of Vengence" once every 3 days.
    "Sky write" and "Freedom of the winds" can be cast half as many times as your player level
    Able to cast "Gaseous Form" once per day
    20th Level:
    Able to create a perfect vacuum in a 5x5x5 foot square

  • Waterbending
    Spellcasting ability is Dex
    4th level:
    gain the "Shape Water" cantrip
    Able to cast "Create or Destroy Water" half as many times as your player level.
    Able to cast "Ice knife" (Charges)
    6th level:
    Able to cast "Water Breathing"  (charges)
    Able to cast "water walk" (charges)
    Able to cast "Control Water" half as many times as your player level (charges)
    Able to cast "Watery Sphere" twice per day
    Able to cast "investiture of air" (charges)
    12th level:
    Able to cast "Snilloc's Snowball Swarm" half as many times as your player level (charges)
    Pull the blood away from the opponent's brain applying the "stunned" effect.
    18th level:
    Able to cast "tsunami" once a day.
    20th level:
    Bend the water within a body. opponents must make a Con Saving throw to resist whatever horrors you conjure. (cannot erupt a body by pulling the blood directly out of a body.)
