The "Experimental Elixirs" of the Alchemist subclass are a little bit cumbersome to manage as you currently have to add them as a costum item you inventory. Simpely adding them to the Item Database would already help a lot. Even better, but probably a lot more work, would be a feature similar to how you add infusions. I know adding them as a homebrew item to you you collection is a workaround but it would be must easier if they just showed up in the official database.
That's also an Option but a lot of the time you don't want to keep the Elixirs on yourself but give then to another party member to use. There is a currently a checkbox for when you have Inspiration. That could be grouped up with a whole lot of other spells and effects like Guidance, Bless, Bane, Hex etc. the Elixirs could fit under that aswell but since they behave a bit more like an Item i still feel like they would be better of in the inventory. Also a system like this would be a whole other can of worms.

I think an easier thing to do would be to have a checkbox of which experimental elixirs you have for the day.
