I am currently in an undead campaign set in a homebrew world(which is also heavy on demons and devils as well) and I am level 4, my party is a champion fighter, berserker barbarian, and a arcane trickster rogue. I picked an alchemist to function as the groups support and healer to prevent their deaths. I have never played an alchemist before and I wanted some advice on maximizing its potential both with roleplay and combat. Additionally, if you have any creative builds or spell or feat options I am open to those too.
1) Roleplay suggestion: Be the cranky medic. Have your elixirs come in syringes instead of vials so you can jab your 'patients' to make a point.
Barbarian: "Ow!"
Alchemist: Removing the poky medical instrument that is their tool for Cure Wounds from the wound "Well if someone would stop frothing at the mouth and running toward the orcs with big weapons, maybe someone wouldn't need medical attention!"
Orc: "RAAAAHHHH!!"
Alchemist: "Oh no you don't! I just patched that idiot up and no two bit goon is going to mess up my beautiful stitches!" Shoots orc with syringe dart full of Ray of Sickness.
2) Combat suggestions: One tactic that I've found effective is to use Catapult to launch flasks of oil (preferably made into molotov cocktails by stuffing a rag in the flask and lighting it beforehand) at enemies. They take bludgeoning from the spell and then also get doused in oil, which makes them take extra fire damage. Then you follow up with a few rounds of Fire Bolt to conserve on limited spell slots. Flasks of oil aren't expensive, but if you wanted to produce your own oil, take the Alchemy Jug as one of your infusions. It makes enough oil per day to fill two standard flasks of oil.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but get yourself a sling.
Use it to lob you oil flasks Molotov 30/120ft. It is a tactic that has been used in RL history.
