so, I like having a solid plan for my characters before a campaign starts, and am currently working on a bard, Hope is a young priestess of Liara and believes her power is a gift from her goddess (so she basically thinks she is a cleric lol) and she hates the idea of harming anyone. However she is happy to heal her allies so they can do the fighting (don't worry, she has a rapier for self-defense) she also hates lies and is a bit trigger-happy with zone of truth (like, every conversation she casts zone of truth.) What feats should I pick and is charisma used for healing? Also, any thoughts on my concept?
Charisma is your spellcasting modifier and will be added to the amount you heal. For example, Cure Wounds heals 1d8 + your spellcasting modifier.
Healer is a perfectly acceptable feat to take, allowing you to use an action to spend a charge from a healer's kit (which has 10 charges) to restore some HP to a party member without using a spell slot. I think that is the only one that is super relevant to the healing role, but there are going to be others that might work with other things you do with your character.
Overall, your character concept seems fine. Combat could be a bit of a problem--the amount of healing you can do is limited by your spell slots, so you will not be able to heal every round. This could both get boring for you and frustrating for your party if they feel you are not pulling your weight. Fortunately, bards also get a lot of fun non-combat spells, including a whole bunch of non-combat cantrips. Provided you have a DM who is not a stick in the mud, you can spend your turns fiddling about with Minor Illusion, Prestidigitation, etc., using the spells to disrupt the flow of battle and harass your enemies into making poor choices or opening up advantages for your allies.
My Bard has one level of Life Cleric as a multiclass dip; specifically, to add the disciple of Life bonus to the healing spells.
Inspiring Leader is a feat that lets you grant temporary hit points to your party during short rests.
Heroism is a good bard spell that also grants temporary hit points as well as making party members immune to frightful presence effects such as those possessed by a dragon.
I also have cure wounds and healing word as 1st level spells. Healing word cures less than cure wounds, but it is a bonus action spell, which means you can cast it in the same round as taking another action; I'm not sure if that means you can cast it after having also cast cure wounds, but if so, it means you can heal 2 party members in the same round.
With the multiclass dip, you can also take "Spare the dying" as a cantrip which means you can in fact cast it every round if necessary

Thank you for your time and please have a very pleasant day.
To answer your question Sheperd_Hubbard, you cannot cast both in the same turn as you can only cast a single leveled spell even if one an action and the other a bonus action.

You're right, but for the wrong reason. There is no rule saying you can only cast one leveled spell per turn, there are a number of ways to cast multiple leveled spells in a turn. The specific rule that prevents casting Healing Word and Cure Wounds in the same turn is this one:
Any turn in which you cast a spell, Cantrip or leveled, as a Bonus Action you are restricted to only being able to cast 1 Action Cantrips for that entire turn. So you can cast Healing Word and Spare the Dying in the same turn, but not Healing Word and Cure Wounds.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
