I'm thinking about making a environmental hazard character for my next discord group game.
1 Sea Sorc/2 hexblade/17 lore bard
Using eldritch blast with repelling and grasp of hadar to position enemies in/out/or through hazards from magical secrets/bard spells. But realizing this may be a selfish build, I was wondering about uping Sorc to 3 for careful metamagic. This would allow party to, at most, be only hindered by difficult terrain (web, sickening radiance, evards) But this begin to throw off spell lvls more than I'm comfortable with.
Maybe a lock/Sorc build and work with those smaller spell lists?
Or drop the sorc's extra 15ft forced movement for 18th magical secrets?
