A 5th level Gloom Stalker should have 4 first level spells known, 2 second level spells known, and DIsguise Self and Rope Trick, neither of which count against spells known. In the builder, it is deducting these spells from the Spells Known list and not allowing the addition of any others once 6 spells have been learned.
At 5th level you only know 4 spells per the Ranger Table, not counting disguise self and rope trick. You should only have 6 spells total. You don't get a spell per spell slot. Sometimes you will have more spells, or in this case fewer spells than you have spell slots.
So it is. The dangers of building a guest player character while trying to read the spells known/ slots on an online table on your mobile because you're too lazy to walk across the room and grab your physical phb from your game bag.
On the plus side, this means the guest player character is all ready to go for tonight's session - now just to remember what he can do so I can remind our guest player of his abilities when needed.
