After messing around with creating a homebrew monster to create a sidekick, i have been utterly confused trying to figure out why it wasn't matching... untill i realised- in skills, when entering the base value to be displayed, the statblock does listed value + additional bonus, however in extras, the system ignores the listed value, checks which skills are listed and then for each skill, set the bonus displayed to be base stat + pb + additional bonus. Sidekicks have a PB of 0 for whatever reason.
I'm not sure why the system works this way, why does it have two different methods of doing the statblocks, why can't the skill editor just let us tick which skills are proficent and then have bonuses as what we type into, or even better, just only have bonuses as the only box to each skill, to which the statblock will display the way it works in extras (stat+pb)+bonus
