So I was looking into making a feature for a fighter subclass that allows you to use dexterity to attack with weapons that don't normally have the finesse property like the monk and a quarterstaff. The closest thing I could find was the way of the Kensi with the monk as they have the capabilities to do so with other weapons. But when I looked at a copy of the way of the kensi opening it up in the knew homebrew subclass feature, it uses a special modifier type called Kensi, however this modifier type is not available when I try and use it for my homebrewed subclass. I was wondering if this is a bug, is the Kensi modifier type locked out only for Kensi, or is there something else I'm missing?
