I have seen a couple of things that needs to be addressed:
The app correctly allows you to select an Epic Boon feat, when you set the PC to 19th level in one class or 19th level and 1st level in two classes.
1) The first problem is that: the PHB states after 355,000XP you can gain another Epic Boon after 30,000XP. However when you go to put in that extra 30,000, it defaults back to 355,000xp. So there is no way to add that next Epic Boon post level 20.
2) Epic Boons are able to be selected from the lower level ASI's selection, when players manipulate the levels in such a way as to multiclass a combine 19 levels, such as 11th level and 8th level for a selection at 8th level's ASI that shows Boons. And then again at 12th level at the 12 level ASI which also shows the Boons, as this combines for 20th. So they get them at 19 and 20th level.
I don't believe that is how the app is supposed to work.
1: You can't go over level 20, so the app/website restricts you to the XP cap for level 20. Additional Epic Boons can be added manually as appropriate.
2: The Homebrewer doesn't have the ability to set a prerequisite for class level, only character level. Since that's a slightly stripped-down version of what the actual devs have to work with, it's entirely possible they have the same restriction unless they actively code in a new option. However. The wording of the Epic Boons and their restrictions leaves it vague enough that it could be legitimate to take an Epic Boon at level 19 even if you aren't class level 19. That's something that, until clarified, has to be ruled on a case by case basis at the table.
