I'm having a really weird issue. I made a homebrew bard spell a few days ago for one of my characters(with DM approval of course), but even with homebrew enabled the spell isn't showing up as an option? Even other homebrew spells are showing up, but this one specific spell hasn't showed up after multiple days of waiting.
Weirdly enough, I seem to be having the same issue with a Druid/Cleric spell I made earlier the same day for one of my players.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Both spells are in my homebrew collection, and homebrew is enabled for the characters I'm trying to put them on.
New classes are not the same classes as the 2014 ones, so a homebrewed spell can be on the "cleric" list, but not the "cleric" list. If you picked the first bard you saw in the dropdown, it'll be for the new bard, and won't show on the list for the old bard. (Similarly, an older homebrew spell will not show for the new bard until you edit it and add the other class.)
beyond is completely reversed now a days, its next to unusable as is. i mean, it is usable for old stuff still, but new stuff doesn't work at all with the older stuff. basically the crew of beyond don't seem to have understood the "backward compatible" side of the new players handbook. so right now nothing is backward compatible on beyond. even older races do not work with the new player handbook. you'd end up with no stats increase at all. and if you use the old stuff, you end up with twice as much stats becaus eof new background which can be used. not to mention the dual multiclass into the same classes. honestgly right now beyond is messed up badly ! i'm guessing they are working on it, but somehow things might stay the way they are for a long time.

That’s because it isn’t really very “backwards compatible” at all.
