I'm continuing my 5 year long homebrew campaign with 2014 rules. I'm creating a new homebrew magic item--I frequently make custom items for my PCs--and it came default with the new Weapon Mastery abilities. I can tell my players to ignore it, but I would much rather be able to have it fully accurate and make the decision myself rather than have it forced into the description. Is there a way to not include the Weapon Masteries?

However, unless you have the weapon mastery ability, that mastery tag does nothing. No ability appears on the character sheet. Nothing happens if you click or roll over it.
Greetings,

No. They're part of the base weapons.
However, unless you have the weapon mastery ability, that mastery tag does nothing. No ability appears on the character sheet. Nothing happens if you click or roll over it.
Welcome to OneD&D or whatever they are planning to call it now.
