I am in a group that has been playing a game using dndbeyond for 7ish years now. With the shift of dndbeyond being on 2024 content, the updates to the website have made it difficult to navigate and caused some errors. For example, some monsters that are mentioned in the Tomb of Annihilation 2014 edition are now broken links or there are no longer stats for, there are several versions of the same spells that tend to flood character sheets, and it seems that a lot of stuff has gone missing without an answer or alternative way to find them.
I understand that you can turn Legacy content on, and have done so, but with all of the extra fluff that has been added by 2024 edition, it has made navigating the website more difficult and make it feel crowded when using my phone or laptop. It is important to note that I do not own any of the 2024 digital books, so I am unsure where it has all come from. We do have content sharing enabled, but it is even on character sheets outside of the game, and none of my friends own the 2024 books either and have the same confusion. I have yet to find any way of turning 2024 content off and am wondering if a solution has been found. I need this because I am now almost fully digital after a flood a few years ago destroyed most of my D&D materials, and if I cannot find a solution it will be very difficult for me to play with my friends.

Thank you for your time.
Unfortunately there's no way to do that right now. If people keep bugging them about it, it's possible they might make a change, but it seems unlikely right now.
I'm about to drop my master level subscription and teach my 8 dnd groups how to build their characters in Foundry because every time I import their sheets from dndbeyond now there's a mishmash of 2024 material through no fault of the player. This site is broken and no longer terribly useful. My groups are not updating to 2024 rules iin the middle of these two-year-long standing campaigns, but that doesn't seem to matter to WotC or Hasbro who are intent on destroying their connections to the ttrpg community for the chance at extracting an extra $6 per player.
What they're going to find is that if nobody is using their tools or playing their games any more, their $6 per person soon becomes -$600 per person. Well done WotC.
It's freaking ridiculous that I can't turn off the 24 ruleset, but I CAN include the "legacy" rules? TOGGLE SWITCH. PROBLEM SOLVED. Let people pick legacy only content, especially if things are mid campaign. So freaking dumb.
I want this too. Every time I pick something for my character I have to go "wait, no I need the legacy one" and remove the new version and add the old one >.<
I agree. When exporting PDF of Clerics/Druids I have 80+ spells of all duplicates to go through. A simple toggle switch to eliminate the nonlegacy spells would be very user friendly

Hi there,

I see, thank you.
I think I will simply find a new place to host my character sheets. Dndbeyond has become very frustrating to use...
I second this. I would like to use Dndbeyond so my players have an easier time accessing our campaign's content (2014), not a harder time.

Completely agree.
