As in the title: have tried Mastercard and American express, changed billing addresses and checked everything is right on my end yet the site insists im either inputing my data wrong or tells me tl go here: https://developer.paypal.com/braintree/help/
I have input multiple times and it still won't let me.
To clarify: both cards have adequate/excess funds for the purchase, there is no restrictions on what I buy/where I buy/how much I buy with these cards per day etc and even if there was £15 certainly does not exceed it. The cards are both still active and not blocked and have been used earlier in the day too and are still working fine. There is no reason for the account/card to not allow/take any issue with dnd beyond purchases as I this made them many times before with no issue.
Customer support tickets are answered in the order they're received, so the exact wait time can vary depending on many tickets are ahead of yours. They also don't answer on US nights or weekends.
They emailed me/got back to me and said they talked with me on the phone and resolved my issue - A no they didn't I never got the phone call and B no they didn't the issue persists.
Here is what they said (would send screenshot but dont know how soz):
”Hi Avengingsoultwo,
You recently spoke with our Customer Service team in ticket #4521179 (Payment disallowed/not processed), and we'd love to hear about your experience. Our
survey should only take 2 minutes, and your feedback will help ensure our team continues to give all our customers the best service possible.”
Ok it says they contacted/spoe to me which they didn't and implied the issue was dealt with by asking for a "how did we do?" surgery which it wasn't so how would I know how they did?
Am I confused here or...? Sory not meaning to be difficult it's just they sent another email saying I put in the wrong billing address (which I didn't) cos 3 cards about 10 times and I tried again (also didn't put in incorrectly) and still didn't work. So I don't know what's wrong?
If it was the address, that would typically mean the bank blocked the transaction because the address provided didn’t match exactly what they had on record. It could be something as small as a missing period or an extra space. If you have an address saved in DDB, I’d double-check it carefully against what your bank has on record, or simply delete it and try again. If you have any further questions, you might try contacting the bank itself.
But the bank DIDN’T block it cos the last 8 times its blocked a purchase the card has been shut down on a fraud warning and it hasnt been and i have tried multiple cards and multiple addresses and multiple banks all of which have failed and ive tried every possible typo combo of the address the dndbeyond system allows so as i said: the problem is DEFINITELY not on my end or : banks, 3 cards AND i have made the exact same mistake 30 times in a row. Which has not happened i assure you. Im careless occasionally but not that stupid lol. I will contact my bank as soon as i can to double check but am currently travelling so cant rn (travel is BOT the issue either that is all cleared and above board too).
