I'm building a spell that is supposed to work similarly to Dragon's Breath in that the player chooses a damage type and rolls the dice. The single dice roll is meant to match both instances of damage. I tried building the spell completely from scratch, and it rolls both the fire and ice dice and does not scale them at all, which is very much not what I want, so I tried editing Dragon's Breath instead. Once I finish editing Dragon's Breath, I get the same result - a spell that rolls 2d8 regardless of the level it's cast at. I left the spell scaling completely alone (except for changing the dice). Is there a way to get the spell to behave similarly to Dragon's Breath or do I need to tell my players to roll it manually?
