A player of my campaign created and new Range and the proficiency bonus is not appearing under all actions for the characters handaxe and quarterstaff.
Any advice or assistance in clearing this up would be much appreciated.

Both look correct to me. Remember that the Quarterstaff and Handaxe both use your Strength score, not your Dexterity score for their to hit and damage modifiers. Your proficiency bonus is only applied to the 'to hit' modifier.
On your sheet you have a strength of 10 (+0) and a Dexterity of 16 (+3). This would mean that your Ranged weapon attacks, and Finesse weapon attacks will have a +5 to hit, and +3 to damage and all of your other weapon attacks will have a +2 to hit, and +0 to damage.
I figured it was a misunderstanding on your end. Your STR mod is +0, your proficiency is +2. 0+2=2. Everything is working here.
For future reference, when proficiency is not being added, the hit and damage modifiers will be the same (in this case both +0). When proficiency is being added, the hit mod will be higher than damage mod (+2 vs +0).
