My group and I play by a rule which states that on our first 3 levels, we take our max possible Hit Point. However, upon taking a long rest our maximum HP resets to a value which does not consider our manual overrides. Are devs aware of the problem and can we expect a fix?
Switch your HP to manual from the first page of the edit character pages. Then you can enter in your value (without CON mod, which will be automatically added) into the "Rolled HP". So for a level 4 Barbarian you'd put 48 (4d12 Max)
Override HP is not the ideal tool for what you want to do, as it will be overwritten on a long rest.

Thank you!
How are you "manual overriding" the max hit points?
Edit class or Manage Levels.
Manage HP—> Override HP.

Had this problem recently and MellieDM's solution worked like a charm. Thanks.
