Its also important to add that the gauntlets and lightning launcher still count as Armor until level 9 for the sake of infusions. It could do with a bit of Errata to make this apparent for those who don’t realise. Also a lot of people mistake where and what you can slap the suit armor infusions.
For instance you cant have both Enhanced Defence and Armor of Magical strength even after level 9.
No - because your infusions must be placed in objects - and your fists aren't objects.
"Lightning Launcher. A gemlike node appears on one of your armored fists or on the chest (your choice). It counts as a simple ranged weapon.."
Doesn't "it" refer to the gemlike node? I would read that the Node is the simple weapon and not the fist (or one's chest if they mount it there instead). It reads to me that you should be able to infuse Lightning Launcher with Enhanced Weapon.
Since the Lightning Launcher's gem-like node is an aspect of the Artificer's Arcane Armor, I would consider it as a magical item. So, I would judge that it couldn't be infused. Same goes for the Thunder Gauntlets.
However, I would say that you could have a pair of, say, Gauntlets of Ogre Strength, and still get the benefit of the Arcane Armor's Lightning Launcher in Infiltrator Mode.
I look at the Artificer's Arcane Armor as a magical augment to whatever actual armor (enchanted or not) the Artificer is wearing.

For your first point The Ninth level feature debunks this though. They become infusable( With weapon infusions) at 9th level. They are still part of the Armor before that*
Either Enhanced Weapon and Radiant weapon for instance can be slapped on gauntlets, but thats only after level 9 when they are treated as weapons for infusing.
* Ogre strength is very weird though. You can technically slap it on gauntlets BUT that would technically use your armors infusion slot meaning no armor of mag str or enhanced defence. Its probably the weirdest infusion mechanically. Like I said it just needs a bit of errata!

Hmm. For some reason, I was reading the 9th level ability as gauntlets instead of the Arcane Armor's special weapon. Now I know, after I've re-read it. Odd, that they would include the chest, boots, and helmet, but not the gauntlets. Especially since the special weapon could be located on the chest.
Also, now that I've re-read the Arcane Armor bit, I don't think the Gauntlets of Ogre Strength would use your armor's infusion spot. Seeing as you would be using your infusion to replicate a magic item. Which you would be wearing along with your (possibly enchanted) armor (Note: it specifically pointed out that the armor spot was the chest piece). Which, might be why there isn't a gauntlet infusion spot. There aren't any infusions that target gauntlets. Just boots, helms, weapons and armor.

They specifically mention "its weapon" for the 9th level feature to cover both Lightning launcher and the gauntlets. Their infusions are that which target weapons.
Replicate magical item requires a mundane version of the item like a Bag for Bag of holding or goggles for the night vision goggles. Hence technically you should be able to slap it onto Ogre. Bit of a waste tbh.
But 100% you can slap radiant weapon or enhanced weapon on either the lightning launcher or Thunder Gauntlets at level 9.
Is there away for another player to add an infused item to their inventory like "Mind Sharpener" so they can keep track of it on their end. and then keep track of it on my end with out it being in my inventory? any help would be appreciated!
Example I gave my Pally the 1+ weapon to his long sword made a note in my sheet. Told the Dm and the DM gave him a 1+ weapon etc. as long as your open with your Dm they will help track it

If you want to do this with non replicated items then you could probably make a homebrew item to give to the other character
is there any way to override the infusion limits to allow armorer's to get their extra two infusions on their armor?
There is an "override infusion limit" option, but it still doesn't offer the flexibility the class clearly is intended to have.
I have been thinking for the last few days about options that the community has without waiting on the devs, I figured it might work to create a "library" of homebrew magical items that combine the various armor infusions into a single item.
Seems a bit ridiculous that all of these posts are more than 2 years old and none of the issues have been resolved. I'm fairly new to DnD and love the flavor of the artificer armorer but building one on this site has been a serious challenge. I really don't mean offense but between purchasing physical books and then realizing you have to repurchase digital books just to have content still unresolved after years of user complaints is a rip off in my opinion.
A different issue I found with my Artificer is that for spell casting focus it requires thieves tools or another tool. When you try to infuse with Enhanced Arcane Focus it only offers Rod, Staff or Wand for the choices. That would be great were I a Wizard or such, but I am not. Nor does it allow you to equip a tool to affect your rolls when crafting. I didn't make an Artificer to just be another tank/caster etc, I made it to make stuff, or make stuff better.

This is why I've decided to stop purchasing books on this site. They just don't seem to have the staff to integrate the books they are promoting into their own website. There is a reason why there has been a drastic turnover of employees at D&D Beyond, and we are seeing the results of that firsthand.
hey, I don't know if I'm missing anything obvious but can you do infusions on the dnd beyond (android) app? (sorry if this was already asked, for what it's worth I CTRL+F'ed the word app to make sure).
also on the site It doesn't allow me to select my glassblowers tools as an option for enhanced arcane focus. I was wondering if there's a work around by some how adding the tag arcane focus to it or something?

I don't know anything about the android app - but the Enhanced Arcane Focus infusion can only be applied to a Wand Rod or Staff.
Enhanced Arcane Focus
Item: A rod, staff, or wand (requires attunement)
While holding this item, a creature gains a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls. In addition, the creature ignores half cover when making a spell attack.
The bonus increases to +2 when you reach 10th level in this class.

Any update on adding infusions to your armor for the armorer subclass?

Wow, nearly a year later as I'm trying to sort out how to properly infuse the armor pieces on an armorer and, lo and behold, still not resolved.
+1 This is a core problem for this subclass.
Example I gave my Pally the 1+ weapon to his long sword made a note in my sheet. Told the Dm and the DM gave him a 1+ weapon etc. as long as your open with your Dm they will help track it

There is an "override infusion limit" option, but it still doesn't offer the flexibility the class clearly is intended to have.
where is that option located?
Edit: found it, but it won't let me apply different infusions to the same suit of armor like it should
