While some Barbarians prefer the heft of heavy weapons, others recognize that part of the Riddle of Steel is control. Power is useless if you cannot control it.
A Barbarian that follows this path becomes a master at wielding a weapon in each hand.
Flurry of Steel
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a frenzy when you rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can make a single melee weapon attack as a bonus action on each of your turns after this one. The weapon used must be one-handed.
You may ready or stow two one-handed weapons at a time instead of one.
You gain the Two-Weapon Fighting Style.
When you are wielding two melee weapons and you are NOT Raging, you gain +1 AC.
You become Proficient in the Intimidation Skill.
Mindless Rage
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
In addition, while Raging your Str-based melee attacks made with one-handed weapons have an additional +2 damage bonus.
Bloody Intimidation
Beginning at level 10, you can use a Bonus Action to try to Intimidate an enemy within 30' of you. Pick the target and make an Intimidation check as a Bonus Action. The check has a bonus of +1 for every enemy you've defeated in the current battle. If the check succeeds the target must make a Wisdom Save versus 8+your Cha Bonus+1 for every enemy defeated in the current battle. If the target makes the Save they suffer no ill effects and cannot be Intimidated by you for 24 hours. If the Save is failed the target becomes Frightened of you for 1 minute. The target may attempt to make another Save at the end of each of their subsequent turns.
Retaliation
Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make two melee weapon attacks against that creature. The weapons used must be one-handed.
