Battle master for sure. Gives more options, like if you’re cavalier you are strong, and champion you have to be strong. But in Battle master, you can have good dex or int. Not saying strength is a bad thing, but c’mon dex is really useful too.

My wings were clipped, my heart in a chain, I suffered then, I walked through pain, but even now I know my strength, and I know I'll go any length to save the ones I love.
My least favorite person is me, but my favorite people are y'all.
My first character ever. I also made a (wood elf) fighter, dual wield, battle master: Menacing Attack, Distracting Strike, Parry. (Quite a number of Maneuvers are catered for strength fighters or two handed weapon wielders, so I picked these.)
But I want my Fighter to be able to do telekinesis ? that is why I wanted to multi class, I wanted to create somewhat of a darth vader/jedi type of character except he fights with sword and shield

Take the Telekinesis feat at 4th or 6th level.
Or, if they can, pick the Psi Warrior for a Jedi and hope to get a sunblade
Manifest Echo. You manifest a magical object that looks like you and you can decide to attack from its position.
Unleash Incarnation. When you attack, you can have your Echo unleash its anger and attack as well. You can do it up to the total of your Constitution modifier per long rest.
Even though this Subclass works great for open world combat and not so good for arena fighters
Battlemaster is the way to go. Fighters get the most asi or feats as they progress. You can start off as variant human to add one more, I prefer using quarterstaff than swords as this allows the use of pole arm master and sentinal feats, used together they are very effective. You can add Telekenetic feat to get your Vader feel as well. Throw in shield master as a free shield bash to push or make prone and most of your opponents are always on the floor stuck. Take crusher feat for more damage and Versatile weapon master for an extra attack your fighter will have multiple ways to overcome most battles. Being a fighter also opens up weapon masteries and every weapon has small bonus effects for masters. The quarterstaff has topple effect so everytime you hit your opponent must make a save or be toppled prone. So basically when you use a battlemaster maneuver you get to add damage add crusher more damage add topple from staff push from shield bash telekenesis for extra yardage adds falling damage and sentinal to make sure he doesn't move again then he's cooked|!
I am playing a fighter Battlemaster lvl6 and he has so many special moves per rest that I have yet to run out before end of day adventuring. Even if you do run out of moves having crusher and versatile weapon master gives bonus damage and an extra attack all the time too!
it can get a bit confusing when to use what in some battles the Psy Warrior subclass has the Darth Vader psyonic powers like a jedi ready to go
Go Samurai to drown someone in dice

Extended Signature!
To me the Battle Master not only deal more damage but it's the most fun Martial Archetype among those mentioned for it offer lots of options..
Thanks all, useful advice!

I'd say that of the 3 that you listed, Battle master is the best option though me personaly, I like the psi warrior and echo knight subclasses.

You forgot the Echo Knight.
You get two great feats at level 3.
