Im playing an arcane archer in DiA but I was thinking of taking 2 levels in wizard (currently lvl 3 AA now) Not sure if its a good idea but it seems like a fun thing to try and considering I play for fun more then being the most optomized character, I've thought about trying it. Any recomendations?

I'd say get to level 5 in fighter before taking 2 levels in wizard, since Extra Attack is basically needed to keep up in damage, and there's no booming blade type alternative for ranged weapons. Some good wizard subclasses to dip into however would be the following: Bladesinger, Divination, and War Wizard. - Bladesinger has a great armor class boost making you hard to hit - Divination's Portent is very useful when needed, making opponents fail saving throws or using them to succeed on your own saving throws, or even for utility. Portent's power comes from versatility.
- War Wizard's Arcane Deflection, boosts AC a bit but not much, but the real good thing is using it to gain a huge boost to saving throws, which fighters will need in midgame and later

I agree with getting to at least level 5 as a fighter before taking any second class. Personally, I would wait until level 6 and take a feat (or ASI) before taking levels in a second class. Even if your goal is not combat optimization. There are plenty of non-combat feats which are useful for general RP and character development.
I would however advise against Bladesinger since their ability (Bladesong) is canceled if you use 2 hands to make an attack unless you are using a hand crossbow.
War Wizard's Arcane Deflection is really good in helping with saving throws, but IMO the Diviner's Portent ability is one of the most powerful abilities gained in the early game and never loses its usefulness.
