So, we were playing a high level campaign, he created himself, and I had a character killed, I didn't mind, since it was a character I whipped up there, so I created a mother f*****g god. Way of the Cobalt Soul, and we were in the desert where scorpions and snales where poisonous, and mummy's as well. So, it was incredibly hard to get me low. Also, mind of mercury, he made a homered where you can instead of use another reaction, it was another bonus action. So, thats six attacks, I multiclassed into fighter, where my ability modifier was added to my second attacks, so, if I can attack six times, 3 of those are +5 to damage. Then, with unarmed strike for monks, theres a like, 1d8+# for it, so that's also added to damage, action surge is another 2 attacks, so 8 attacks, then dump into dex and wisdom and con, then boom, you're a god. I'm also an Aasimar, so wings, si a fly time and a walking speed. Also, I have 3 whole villiges under my control, and I broke the fourth wall. So, he killed me.
If your DM killed you how are you writing this? I take it he only killed your character!
It sounds like an inexperienced DM who didn't know the potential of what he was allowing and what an optimiser you are.
The aim of the game is for everyone to have fun if one player has a PC that is a "God" and the rest players only have heroes most of the time will result in the game not being fun for the rest of the group. You make no mention about how you got to control 3 villages (you not the party) but it does sound as if you have put all the focus of the game on yourself.
You also made no mention how your DM "killed you" there are good ways and bad ways:
Good way: the DM speak to you out of character and saying that as the rest of the party is not optimised and he hadn't realised how powerful your character would be compared to them and other players has told him they are not enjoying the game because of it so you can not play with your character as is currently stands
Bad way: As you walk through the village the DM tells you your character dies he then tells the rest of the group he is a powerful sorcerer who found the way your character had declared himself as lord of the village (and maybe the way you did it) as a terrible crime deserving of death so had subtly cast power word kill on him.
He sent 2 tarrasque after me to kill me, didnt work out in my favor, also, funny thing, he asked me for the character sheet, and he used it as the BBEG in his other campaign. It was funny, and well deserved, and he wasn't inexperienced, it was homebrew. Some new stuff, and let me, and
