So im starting a new campaign as an Aasimar sun soul monk. my idea is a monk that is highly moble with the ability to fly in attack, stunning strike and then ranged attack from the air (assuming this is after lvl 5 to have 2 attacks) so i end the turn in a very safe position. I was looking for input on how to get the most out of this build so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would love to hear them.
Raining Holy strikes from on high as you fly around like a glowing angel of destruction isn't enough for you? Sweeping the field with Fiery breath still not enough? Dashing into combat to dole out multiple strikes before taking to the sky again? Or perhaps you fly straight in and stun the evildoer and THEN rain blows upon them with the fury of the high heavens? Just sayin...

"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
oh I totally understand that I will be like a super saiyan crushing my enemies ruthlessly. but if there is anything im missing about the role I like to figure it out sooner rather than later. im also thingking about taking the moble feat at lvl 4 to do all those things and never provoke AoO's while saveing my Ki for the energy shots. <---- Good Idea? or is it getting messy for no reason?
It bears mentioning that you can only use the flight speed/damage boost once per day. If the flight is going to be core to your fighting style, you might want to give up the damage boost and go aarakocra instead.
hmmmm you have a really great point that i didnt take into accout. unfortunately the DM dosent allow aarakocra (i already asked lol first choice) but maybe i can ask him if i can have that ability after every short and long rest. it would make it more useful. again not that im not already going to have good amout of power.

You can punch lasers 30 feet and have 40+ movement. You can save your once per day flight for when it is needed.
