like i get that past level 15 the players get super powerful and almost no combat encounter gives any challenge and that by this point spellcasters can cast 9th level spells, but this is just ridiculous.
You become invisible, while you are invisible several benefits follow:
-you gain advantage on your attack rolls and attacks against you have disadvantage
-many spells like eldrich blast, magic missile and fire bolt cannot even target you in the first place
-you do not trigger opportunity attacks
-many attacks automatically miss due to targeting the wrong position
and on top of that you also get resistance to anything that is not force damage.
Like yeah the abillity costs ki, but so little ki that you could do it four times, or do it twice and still have most of your ki left, and ki is regained on a short rest regardless so if need be an monk could use this abillity every combat encounter, the only real drawback i see to this abillity is that it costs an action and that sucks for action economy, plus the fact that many high CR dragons will have blindsight, many high CR fiends truesight and many spellcasters see invisibillity, but still i think this power is maybe a little too powerful, i donno maybe i am missing some cruicial thing here but it seems like a very powerful combat abillity, particularly in those rare foolish campaigns where pvp is an thing or even the main event

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
Well the glass canon-ess of the monk kinda balances the abilities that seem really powerful in my opinion. I'm just glad that these improved abilities and giving the monk the ability to use dexterity instead of strength to attack and damage without having to sacrifice a feat for it makes the monk less MAD than in previous editions
