If you mean literally all Monk class features do not work while Wild Shaped then please explain your reasoning for the following:
Unarmored Defense,
Martial Arts,
Ki,
Unarmed Movement,
Slow Fall,
Extra Attack,
Stunning Strike,
Ki-Empowered Strikes,
Evasion,
Stillness of Mind,
Unarmored Movement Improvement,
Purity of Body,
Diamond Soul,
Timeless Body,
Empty Body
The only features I found that might not work were Deflect Missile(requires a hand which an animal form might not have), Tongue of the Sun and Moon(Most animal forms can't talk), and Perfect Self(requires all 20 levels going to Monk so not enough to multiclass into Druid for Wild Shape).
The only other feature with potential issues is Martial Arts, and only that it's likely not optimal to use. All creatures are capable of making Unarmed Strikes. The problem is that most animal forms have a Multi-Attack that likely yields better damage than spending your action and bonus action to make Unarmed Strikes.
Natural weapons are indeed weapons. That's not what I said. I said that they are not Melee weapons. Because they are not. They are natural weapons. There are plenty of natural weapons that are not modified by things that modify melee weapons.
Since unarmed strikes by the monk are classified as Melee weapons Stunning strike works. Because Natural Weapons are not automatically melee weapons it doesn't. It's just like a bow is a weapon but it is not a melee weapon and thus without something else specifically changing how things work for a subclass or the like you can't stun with it but it's still a weapon.
Natural weapons can be used to make melee weapon attacks. There is no natural weapon attack distinction.
It's confusing as hell but I'll try to clarify. Weapons are objects used to perform attacks. A melee weapon performs a melee weapon attack. A natural weapon like claws performs a melee weapon attack as well. Unarmed strikes perform melee weapon attacks despite those not actually being weapons.
Even if this didn't work RAW (which it does), not letting this work is anti-fun.
YOU are correct, so many DM's get this wrong and limit a MURDERBEAR stunMonkey! ! !

EXACTLY.... why folk want shit on a nice combo is beyond me, its RAW and a good fun RAW at that.... Lay on MacDuff
I'm sure anything mixed with Monk would be kick ass. I prefer straight Monk, so I can benefit from the automatic +4 bonus to Wisdom and Dexterity. Which should already be in the 20s, if you didn't buy a bunch of feats and half feats.

Wild Shapes don't benefit from monk abilities.
Could you share your thoughts on this more fully?

This is an amazing combo! Personally I love it more with the new rules. Moon Druid/Elements Monk! I might run out of spell slots but not options!
