Is there a way to leave comments and recommendation on the feedback for the new Oath of the Noble Genies UA? I didn't see any comment section; "only green, yellow and red lights." I like the features but don't feel like this idea is really in keeping with the typical paladin oaths. I think this subclass should be reworked as a Dragon Patron warlock subclass instead.

If you select Yellow on something, you can leave a comment. This system is ridiculous, yes.
I put red on the whole subclass, wasn't able to say a thing about why I thought it was abhorrent, I personally think the whole subclass is a joke and have no idea how it made it as far as UA. I suspect they had an intern write this UA, it doesn't respect Paladin lore at all and is unbalanced in some very terrible ways, the subclass is weak but then it is stupidly overpowered as a 3 level multiclass dip for bard or warlock.
Whoever thought studded leather (+1/+2/+3) + shield (+1/+2/+3) + DEX Mod + CHA Mod isn't broken... You just have to get 13 strength score and all is good. With a starting ASI of 13, 13(12+1), 14, 8, 17 (15+2), pick up 'pact of the blade' from warlock dip (or vice versa dip 3 into Paladin for this). Just pick up defensive duelist to get 14 DEX and the ability to add PB to AC on top as a reaction... you now have a stupidly high AC for a lightly armoured character. As such, I don't think this UA subclass will see light of day into an actual publication... but I thought the same thing about making Divine Smite a spell and we've all seen how that badly that went down.
I don't think it will pass either. Pairing it with College of Dance Bard would give your character AC = DEX mod + CHA mod + CHA mod + shield.

You only "Unarmored Defense" feature that scales with Splendor is Draconic Sorcerer's, and even then, Sorcadins have always been obnoxiously tanks and cheesing damage off the stronger spell list.

Its less broken than the current Light armor + Bladesong + (Oh, you hit me, check again) Shield spell.
In this UA its about as broken as Mage-Armor + Bladesong +(OH, you hit me, check again) Shield spell.

I feel at this point you might aswell just play a Bladesinger. You'll do everything this Paladin does without anywhere the same level of hoops to jump through, and get access to fullcasting + the Wizard spell list.
You wouldn't be the best Wizard, but you'd still be a Wizard.
Just pick up defensive duelist to get 14 DEX and the ability to add PB to AC on top as a reaction...
Skip all this and just pick up magic initiate for the Shield spell. Its way less effort.

If the goal is AC, its Tortle, Sorcerer (Draconic) or bust.
A. Chasing the Parry Feat is much harder than getting Shield either from a background feat or Sorcerer.
B. You get a lot more gas in the tank from Sorcerer spell slots than anything Warlock is offering.
Admittedly, at the point, you'd just be playing a Sorcadin Paladin, which is already a goofy strong combo because... Paladins scale entirely off spell slots now. The only thing that's kinda a road-block is your class progression is hyper-fixated on ASI increases, which... in that case you might not bother with chasing Dexterity for cookie cutter GWM damage.
I think generally Splendor involves too much investment to break it; it turns light armor into Bracers of Defense early game.
Chasing Splendor's benefits pretty much has the player forgo feats for most a campaign for ASI increases and spend their time crafting magical light armor (over other items, if they don't have a very generous DM that hands magical + everything).
The strongest element Splendor is having a good Dexterity save (although you'd probably live with -1s Intl / -1 + Wis save proficiency the entire game to facilitate any multiclass; atleast it gives the player a visible benefit to not just multiclass.
I can't believe nobody has realized: bladesong and genie's splendor can stack. Add in unarmored AC moon druid AC, and this druid paladin wizard is so smart, serene, and good looking that you have to roll 20 to hit them at level 9, 23 at level 12, and 27 at level 20 if multiclassing as a fighter (26 otherwise).

"Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are to fast: I would catch it."
"I cannot comment on an ongoing investigation."
"Well of course I know that. What else is there? A kitten?"
"You'd like to think that, Wouldn't you?"
"A duck."
"What do you mean? An African or European swallow?"
my biggest issue is for a class based around genies and elements, they rely so much on radiant damage, wish they had a feature that changes divine smite damage to one of the elements isntead of adding an effect on it. and yeah their ac is gonna be rridicilous
