I was wondering why there is no information about this multi-class on here? Is it a bad idea?
I am playing a Ranger (intending on Hunter but haven't reached it yet-still level 1) but, I see where multi-classing into Druid (circle of land-coast) might help. Reasons: Gaining the Scrying, and some Druid spells sooner will help out greatly.
What do y'all experts think on this multi-class? What level split makes the most sense?
It's a great multiclass. Especially with a moon druid, as many of the hunter's abilities work in beast form. Even a one level dip in druid (or cleric) gives a ranger great spellcasting and action options. Many of the spells a ranger won't take (due to a small pool of spells known) are on the druid's spell list. I'm thinking healing work, fog cloud, etc.
i actually currently have a druidic ranger built right now. the DM let us play with UA content so my ranger subclass is that of the Fey Wanderer which is pretty useful damage wise. i also chose circle of the moon druid and so far my elf is op (granted the character is lvl 20). A Ranger(10) druid(5) Monk(5) build is a sure fire way to piss off any DM when played right and as long as the DM allows UA content and Feats.
