I was thinking of taking this feat on my soulknife , mainly for flavor.
Which spell option do you think would be the best? Keep in mind my spell casting ability isn't great, so its probably better if I choose something that doesn't use that mechanic.
Skipping a few obviously bad options, That limits it to:
Bless
Hex
Hunters mark
Silvery barbs
Sleep
Which do you think is the most useful? I think hex or hunters mark, but there is a good case for bless too.
Considering you only get 1 cast per long rest, the best option would be Gift of Alacrity because going first in combat is awesome. Other decent options would be situational spells like Detect Magic or Comprehend Languages if you are missing a skill monkey type party member.
I've liked Hex on a Swashbuckler for the damage sure, but also for the rider that imposes disadvantage on a particular ability check. Hex-ing someone's WIS is nice when you are trying to use your Panache, or just to make it harder for opponents to Perceive you. If you have a grappler in the party, hex-ing an opponent's STR can work out well too. Maintaining concentration can be tricky - unless you are a ranged rogue - but an hour duration makes the once per long rest hurt less.
If you are looking at damage, then bless is generally better than hex and hunter's mark since the other two party members have increased damage as well. It also has good defensive qualities and as you noted it doesn't have a save. Most importantly I have seen bless be a great spell at nearly all levels of the game, but its probably not a good spell for your casters to use at high level. For a character who isn't concentrating on anything else its a good choice.
I think Silvery Barbs is the other good choice here. You will regularly find a way to use it once per day, and rogues generally don't have a lot of uses for their reaction.
I love the Rogue backstories! I've been trying to make a BugBear Rogue using the character builder but it's not giving me a bugbear option. How do I get that option?
I'd recommend Bless, or silvery barbs. Avoid sleep at all costs. It's amazing until about level 4 then rapidly falls off in being useful.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Bugbear is available in Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse. I believe you can buy just that race and add it to your collection.
This is a great spell! Last 8 hours, roll a D8 and that is added to your initative for the whole 8 hours. Perfect for a rogue/backstab.

Gift of alacrity if your DM allows it. If not, silvery barbs. Blass isn't a bad 3rd choice.
