Don’t forget how useful Hex is out of combat. Disadvantage on all Wisdom checks is pretty powerful when you’re using Persuasion or Deception.
Unfortunately Hex affects ability checks, not saving throws. I wish it did, that would make it much more powerful in combat than it already is.
But using it on strength checks and let your raging barbarian try to push down an enemy with advantage while they have disadvantage, then grapple them preventing them from standing back up means your party circling them and attacking them with advantage multiple turns... that's already pretty strong. Add to that hexing rogue/scouts to give the disadvantage on wisdom perception rolls to spot your rogue or dexterity checks to they can't hide with impunity with cunning action every round. Also useful.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
Hex. It gets net you +1d6 Necrotic per attack as a Bonus Action (the positive is at 5th, 11th, and 17th, Eldtrich Blast has extra attacks)
Note that Hex only requires the BA to instigate it or move it. Once a target is hexed, your BA is free for other things, yet you still get that relentless 1d6 damage.
Celestial patron also gives you access to Flaming Sphere, a spell that grants you a bonus action every turn, and scales up very good (better than concentrating on Hex on higher level).

FS is good if you've nothing else, but it's a BA that uses concentration, much more efficient to have a concentration spell such as shadow of moil, darkness, conjure animals, spiritual guardians running each round, and use your BA for something else, like Spiritual Weapon, offhand pact scimitar bonus attack, polearm hilt attack, GWM bonus attack...
Obviously, most of this refers to Locks who multiclass. Multiclassing is fun. :)
Looks like you haven’t tried flaming sphere up cast. At level 9 warlock you get level 5 spell slots. Flaming sphere is much better than spiritual weapon and definitely worth the concentration. Your action can be eldritch blast or booming/green-flame blade. Compared to level 5 spell slots, multiclassing isn’t worth it, unless for story reason.
Btw, what kind of celestial warlock would pick shadow of moil? Doesn’t make sense. Even hex makes less sense. Angels probably won’t grant you those kinds of powers.
Initiative rolls are considered checks (DEX). So, if you have the opportunity to nerf a creature with hex, it's a good way to go. I realize this is a little out of context with the question.
Another thing: You can Hex someones STR, then try (you or a teammate) to snatch their weapon/wand/etc. from their hand. It's a STR vs. DEX check RAW.
I've done both of these. It's very satisfying.

DM: Are you sure?
Wizard: Yes. I cast the Wish spell and I wish that everybody loves me!
DM: You transform into an irresistible, magnificent feast. It was so great, all who participated in devouring you tell of the joy they felt with tears in their eyes and all who hear the tale only feel sorrow that they weren't there to eat.
Also, illusion's bracers from Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica (which are more than a bit broken on a warlock) and misty step (since your normally using a cantrip to attack and this instantly frees you from grapples, restraints and gets you out of melee range without causing opportunity attacks so that your ranged attacks are not at disadvantage or if your using shadow of moil so that you can get your advantage back..
The wording on the bracers is pretty specific "While wearing the bracers, whenever you cast a cantrip, you can use a bonus action on the same turn to cast that cantrip a second time." So to cast misty step as a bonus you would also need to cast it as an action.

Accept that not every build is designed to really utilize/maximize every mechanic.
Warlock's most common bonus action spell is Hex. It gets net you +1d6 Necrotic per attack as a Bonus Action (the positive is at 5th, 11th, and 17th, Eldtrich Blast has extra attacks) I personally think Hex can be meh, and usually pick other things. The Warlock has very limited spells and for me my choice depending on my lvl. I'd usually save the slot for a Counter-Spell to negate damage or Armor of Agathys as I too play 2 very different melee Warlocks.
You already have Pole Arm Master, which is probably one of the best things you can do is the extra wack. I'm curious are you a HexBlade using a Quarterstaff, or Pact of the Tome using Shillelagh on a quarterstaff, or something else?

If you took Pact of The Chain, you could take Investment of The Chain Master for one of your invocations. It buffs your familiar a little and allows it to take the attack action, using your bonus action to command.
Relentless Hex let’s you use your bonus action to teleport next to a creature that’s hexed.
Cloak of flies is pretty cool, it uses your bonus action to activate. It doesn’t use your BA after that, but it deals damage to anyone of your choice within 10ft. Plus it gives you advantage on intimidation checks.
There’s also a handful of other invocations that let you use your bonus action to deal damage equal to your Cha bonus.
If it uses its movement it will trigger. So you’re right if you force movement with something like Repelling Blast it won’t trigger. But if it’s something like a fear effect that causes the character to use their movement it will trigger AOO.

My genie chain warlock, Horobak. Uses his bonus action to have his familiar Sprite take the attack action.
This is the shortbow which has a 10 DC to be poisoned and if you fail by 5 or more they go unconcoius, but its DC is 18 due to my investment of the chain invocation.
This is a good strat.

I do the same sometimes with my Archfey Chain Warlock. Save or suck for one minute of poison as a bonus action is handy, although you do of course need to decide if it's worth risking your 2 HP familiar drawing aggro.
Telekinetic is a pretty good feat if you need a +1 to your charisma. It gives you a bonus action to push/pull someone 5 ft away/towards you. It doesn't require any resources or concentration, so you can use it every turn if you want to. There's a lot you can do with it as well.

That's a no-go. Misty Step isn't a cantrip.

Yeah, but with Eldritch Blast or Greenflame blade/Booming blade, it becomes much more interesting...

Absolutely right- correcting while speeding! Reading it from that perspective he probably just meant casting it for positioning.
I thought AOO happened only when the target voluntarily moves.

It’s a radiant Hex 😄
and hey, Resurection and True Resurrection are Necromancy spells too. 😅🤷♂️
