Any way to add Improved Pact weapon using DDBeyond Character Creator
If you're using the 2014 version of the Warlock class, it should be available as long as you have access to Xanathar's Guide to Everything and have "Expanded Rules" turned on in the Home tab of the character builder.
If you're using the 2024 version of the Warlock class, then no, or at least not right now. D&D Beyond doesn't currently support using Invocation options from Xanathar's Guide to Everything with the 2024 Warlock class. It's kind of an open question whether that's meant to be allowed under the 2024 rules at all; there has been a lot of debate about it but no official ruling.
A mod checked, and answered that. It is intended to work in the rules, but can't work at this time due to programming limitations of DnD Beyond. Edritch Invocations were programmed in as class features. Since the 2024 Warlock is a different class than the 2014 Warlock, the 2024 version can't gain access to the class features of another class. They either have to redo how all invocations are programmed in, or they have to add all the invocations from non PHB sources into the new 2024 Warlock. At this time, they don't have the resources to do either.
This is a programming issue, not a rules issue.
If you want to look it up for yourself, when the issue of Invocations not showing up in the list for the new 2024 Warlock, a mod stated that they would pass that feedback along. They then came back and reported that it wasn't possible at this time, because of the programming issue (and explained what I typed above). I want to say it was in the bugs forum, but don't have time to go looking for it right now to link it.
Sorry I am late but thank you for finding this for me. So, if I want to add it to my character, I need to go Pen and Paper or create a Homebrew SubClass?

Playing D&D since 1982
Have played every version of the game since Basic (Red Box Set), except that abomination sometimes called 4e.
