I'd like to create a Bladesinger in DnD Beyond. Because it is covered in two books, I'm a little confused. Do I just need to purchase "Bladesinger" subclass from SCAG to get the features on my character sheet? Or do I need to also purchase something from Tashas to get the updates from Tashas?

I believe that the tashas changes are retroactive. Like the changes t GFB and BB over-wrote the old changes. I have both the scag and tashas, but I only have the tasha's version of the spells (not entirely true, I saved the originals as homebrew before they were changed).
You don't have to buy everything at once. What I would recommend is buy the bladesinger, then go to the character builder and see if it allows you to do everything you expect you should be able to. if not, look up what's missing, then add that ala carte until you are able to construct the character you want.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
Don't forget to buy the spells from Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide. Otherwise, you will not have access to the Green-Flame Blade and Booming Blade cantrips. I suppose you could hold off until 5th level, though, since they only do their supplementary damage effects up until that point.

When faced with the endless onslaught of magical possibilities, many wizards suffer identity crises. Some overcome, some break, and some become sword-bards.
it originally appeared in the sword coast adventurers guide - https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/scag - I was able to buy the subclass and spells a few months ago. I'm not sure if DnDbeyond lets us purchase alacarte any more

Bladesinger is in the SCAG. It's reprinted in tasha's cauldron of everything. You'll have to purchase one of those books to get it. Tasha's is the better buy imo.
That said, the Bladesinger is about to become obsolete, legacy content so DMs MAY not allow it.

How do you purchase just the subclass? Please I want the subclass so bad 🙏
Unfortunately, as of several months ago, the marketplace site no longer allows purchasing individual character builder options, only whole books. As mentioned in this thread, you can get this subclass by purchasing either the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide or Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
These two books are generally the same price, though inexplicably the current winter sale has a slightly better discount on Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, plus it has more character options in general, so I'd recommend that one.

It's in Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide - Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide - Sources - D&D Beyond (dndbeyond.com). See if you can just buy the subclass.

I can buy the subclass for 2 bucks. Will it include the update from Tashas?

You mean the character customization rules? Check and see if you are able to use them with other classes.

I'm interested in playing a bladesinger and was wondering where it is in the players handbook or if it in a different book
