Hi Guys, just some clarification for copying spell scrolls into my spell book. i just found a protection from poison spell scroll.
Now its a 2nd level spell normally, but the spell scroll is of 3rd level. Now when spending time to copy it into my spell book, does it cost me 4 hours and 100gp, because the spell is normally 2nd level, or does it cost me 6 hours and 150gp because it is a scroll of 3rd level.
Many thanks! Hats- The Wizard.
EDIT: i realise this isnt a wizards spell so cant actually copy it into my spell book :( but still curious about the principle of copying them
You get the spell at base level. So for 2nd it would be 100 gp and 4 hours.
