I cannot figure out how to add the class-based modifier to any homebrew spell am i overlooking something or is it just not something the site or tools can calculate yet?
Well they show up for my spells and spell rolls, but not my homebrew spells, or the other homebrew spells from the community. I'm just wondering if there's a way to make it show up or if homebrews don't get the modifier
I think we're going around in circles here. I'll try to be clearer.
I'm not sure where you're expecting those modifiers to be applied to, could you explain that to me. Which part of the spell are you wanting that number to show up in
Ok when you make a roll on the page or app it rolls the dice shows the number you rolled then the modifier number. but when you try to roll for the homebrew spells the numbers doesn't show up. is that a better answer? sorry if im not being clear..
Right. So, by default, most spells don't add the spellcasting modifier to damage. There's only a few that do. If you want to make your spell add that to the damage, go to the bit where you set the damage, and tick the "Use Primary Stat" tick box

Do you mean the bonus to hit? That's automatic, you don't need to set that
No the ones that come from the different classes like the warlocks CHA modifier or the wizards INT modifier.
What are you trying to add these numbers to?

Is this for the damage or the to-hit?
the one that adds to the damage roll
