I've noticed for a while now that a pretty glaring problem with the digital dice is the complete lack of a way to implement certain feats or abilities for certain classes.
Plenty of melee classes would like to re-roll 1's or 2's with Great Weapon Fighting Feat, a ton of different Sorcerer's could take great advantage of Empowered Spell Metamagic, not even mentioning more niche feats, but ones that still see a ton of use like Elven Accuracy. As it is, there's just a complete lack of ways to manageably re-roll dice, while keeping the previous rolls.
The dice dissappear after a certain amount of time, so there's no way to reasonably count up the rolls you would want to keep, and the automatic adding the app does for the dice rolls make it impossible to see all the different rolls you might want to see as well, as it only shows a few of the different numbers.
I've seen threads over the years saying this is an issue they'll look into, but the most recent one was two years ago now.
I agree, I don't get why this does not get more attention. The main thing we are using dnd beyond for is to have the character sheets online and to roll the dice.
At my first level as a sorcerer I won't really be able to use it to roll dice if I take empowered spell. It makes me want to take a different metamagic, even though that one fits my character by far the best of all of them.
How do people get around this or do they just use another piece of software? I am likely to pick up scorching ray and that is going to mean rerolling damage across multiple targets and I have no clue how any of that is going to work at all in this software. It will be annoying even with burning hands.
I would love to be able to use DnD Beyond with Above VTT (or Maps!) instead of Roll 20. But I don't. And the only reason I don't is because of this issue.

This continues to be an issue; some attention to it would be appreciated.
A suggestion in UI even:
Add a character sheet option to allow rerolls. Defaulted off is fine, nothing changes if this is not selected.
If it is selected:
When the dice visually roll, put a checkmark in the lower right corner.
Allow the player to click the dice they want to reroll and highlight them as they are clicked.
When the checkmark is checked, reroll any highlighted dice and send the results of the total of all dice rolled to the chat window like normal.
