In the interview with Ted from Nerd Immersion (YouTube channel), Kyle Brink -- the Executive Producer of D&D, asked what WotC could do to improve the conversation with the community.
As a veteran DM, a Master Tier subscriber to D&D B from the very start, and a prolific homebrew creator on this platform, would love to see a return of Dev Updates videos and Q&A on D&D Beyond, as part of that transparency process. The D&D Beyond community has felt somewhat abandoned in the "conversation" since WotC took over the toolset.
Also, there seems to have been zero progress on some of the feature requests that have been in high demands for years. DDB has a "requests" Zendesk site linked to the feedback forum *and* a forum feedback thread that had great features and improvement / quality of life requests, most of which have been ignored : e.g. Concentration toggle/button indicator, custom conditions, conditions that when toggled on, we see the character sheet change accordingly, features like Rage that when toggled on changes the To Hit and Damage rolls on the sheet, Material components tag for spells, or Homebrew tag ("M", "H"), option for custom Adv or Disadv for individual skills (as part of the custom sidebar), improved search features for Homebrew collection, ability for our players to browse the shared homebrew, etc.
Been waiting for years for some of these improvements, some of which aren't very difficult to program 😉.
