The ability to add custom actions to your sheet (more accurately, custom attacks) is helpful, but could use some improvement. Off the top of my head, there are 5 things that would massively improve their usage in my own games:
Being able to make values negative. Currently, there is no way to impose a penalty to the damage of a custom attack.
Being able grant a bonus/penalty to hit/DC. Right now we can only add a bonus to damage. Being able to adjust the to-hit and DC of custom attacks would be useful.
Being able to choose multiple stats to calculate off. This would allow us to emulate functions like the finesse property. Many features in the game offer to calculate DC off of different ability scores.
Being able to input a second damage value. Being able to make a secondary damage total appear (in the same fashion as a versatile weapon) would be very helpful.
Being able to add "Notes" to custom attacks. Currently, there is no way to add notes to a custom attack. If what we are creating is a weapon that would have properties, it would be nice to be able to make those properties display in the same fashion as a normal equipped weapon.
This would be incredibly helpful. I have several items right now in my homebrew that need most of these scenarios and I have to tell my party to do additional calculations to their rolls.
