Currently on the Backgrounds page, if you hit the plus sign on a background, it displays all info with a button to the details page that shows exactly the same thing.
My feedback is to use the plus sign for just the game mechanics info and when you click the details button, which might be better at the top rather than the bottom, it takes you to the flavor text. That is my personal preference.
As an alternative, use the plus button to display the flavor text, and the details button for the game mechanics.
As a reference document, I believe there should be less scrolling and clicking to the mechanics we are looking for. The flavor text, while crucial, is generally only useful once for each user, so that should be the second thing you see.
I will agree. I hadn't looked much at it before this post, but as references go, I'd like to have the mechanics (proficiencies, equipment, feature) one click away. Suggested Characteristics is something that players look at... once? During character creation (they reference their own from the sheet after that). DMs may want to check for awarding inspiration, but even that is rare, I think.
I'd like to see the mechanics staying at both locations (the + button and the Details page) and the Suggested Characteristics staying solely at Details.
Flavor of the background (the first 1-2 paragraphs) I could see going either way.
I agree with both above. At the very least, the Suggested Characteristics could go. In the case of soldier, I'd also remove the "Specialty" table. At the very least, it placed below the feature.

Thank you!
