The Great Weapon fighting style, as we all know, allows you to reroll 1's and 2's on damage die. Currently, D&D Beyond does not reroll these die for you. If you're using Beyond 20, it'll SOMETIMES do it automatically, but it doesn't work on forced crit rolls, and the extension seems to disable natural crits.
I don't like having to use a 3rd party extension as a workaround in order to try and utilize my features and abilities.
Other examples of things that need proper dice functionality would be the Great Weapon Master and Sharpshooter feats, the Improved and Superior Critical features for the Champion, the plus to damage you get while Raging, the Hexblades Curse and Lifedrinker extra damage, and the Eldritch Smite damage.
Has there been any mention of adding these functionalities?
So it’s now nearly another 18 months along with no work on this issue being progressed. It appears that that rather than being a low priority issue, it is just being ignored. Please actually do some work on this, it actually is something that detracts from play experience, and we are not talking here about feats from later supplements but about core class features in the Players Handbook and some feats from that book. In other words, very basic things that have been an issue from the first days of D&D Beyond that should have been rectified before starting work on the implementation of features from later sourcebooks. Fix this!!
just joined DnDbeyond to test the maps & encounters and this was one of the BIGGEST obstacles to switching to DnDbeyond as a subscriber. The amount of time I'm having to manually create duplicate actions for Greataxe, Rage Greataxe, Greataxe Great weapon Master, Rage Greataxe Great Weapon Master is very unappealing. To then track for re-rolls of 1 or 2 with Great weapon fighting makes this an inferior product compared to other VTTs and open sourced mods & scripts.
It's especially concerning that they are pushing into Betas & Alphas for the VTT before having core character functions from product launch still not implemented 7+ years later.

Expanding the digital dice to cover features like this is something the team intends on doing, yeah. It's just a case of bandwidth and priorities

I was looking for an customisation option to "Re-roll if X or lower" but there doesn't appear to be a button for it.
Please add dice rerolling rules, even as customisations, so we can add them ourselves.
Better would be to add logic that checks for "Great Weapon Fighting" automatically as the meta data exists on the character sheet!
Is this still the case? Seems to be a pretty low priority, yeah?
