How bad at business do you have to be to A) Make the OGL mistake from last year, and then B) follow it up with this garbage. Way to confirm that you have no confidence in your product going forward than to remove the capabilities to digitally use the old versions even in campaigns that started with them. Like...holy crap...amazing levels of incompetence and a wonderful case study in not having any understanding of your customer base.
And their defense they have said in the past that their online tools will always have the latest greatest content.
Which made sense when they issued errata or rules clarifications.
It doesn't make sense when they issue potentially game breaking power level creep changes to some classes while completely forgetting others such as the artificer.
They should have added legacy tags to spells that have been revised like they've done with monsters that have been revised due to changes in the books over the last couple years.
I fear what they have done is going to change people who were excited about using their new vtt capability into people who want to go use roll20 again.
