I think DnD Beyond character sheets could help improve pace of play by adding a turn planner dialog that you can trigger with a button next to the dice button. The dialog would allow players to plan their turn in advance by selecting their desired action and bonus action from drop down boxes, accounting for things like extra attacks. It could show helpful things like what dice to roll, what bonuses to add, and save DCs. Showing min and max possible damage output of the actions would also be nice. Currently, I see players at my regular game looking at the sheet, grabbing dice, rolling, looking at the sheet again for damage, navigating to the bonus action tab, etc., even if they knew what they were going to do before their turn started. A lot of that could be streamlined if it there was a dialog that simplified everything to "roll these dice, add this, then on hit roll these dice and add that", and players could use the extra time to and reduced mental load to focus on things like flavor and dialog.
