Features that I'm shocked aren't already available within maps:
Players should be able to open their character sheets within the map interface through their token or sidebar, or at the bare minimum the "Actions" section of the players' character sheets. Similarly to the way the DM can open the monster's stat block, and get an interact-able list of the monster's actions and saving throws. Players should also be able to manipulate their health as they receive damage, and heal inside of the maps interface.
The encounter maps should contain the tokens of the creatures that are located in that map space on the map already instead of forcing DM's to important everything manually from the token add button.
And lastly the maps feature should be integrated onto the Dnd Beyond app. Which, is the primary selling point of the DnD Beyond system--having an app that players can use from a tablet or phone.
Again, I'm shocked these features aren't available for a system that's been around since 2023.

Well seeing as the map only JUST got the monster stuff a few months ago, I presume that this is something being worked on.

No thanks, I use maps for non campaign things, so then many DMs would have to UNpopulate the map themselves. No to mention some people don't use the written monsters so again asking for them to do more work. Where as the way it is now every DM does the same amount of work.
The app is a separate team coding it, seeing as the map feature is in Beta, they will likely not want to work out the code for the website and the app while trialing things.
Yes the feature has been around for 2 years, but let be honest it only got major updates since like the last 6 months?

No thank you. What if I want to use completely different monsters on that map? Or just fewer of them? I would have to take extra steps to delete monsters before I can get the map the way I want it. Not difficult, sure, but pointless.

I would love:
These are both in Sigil and shouldn't be too hard to add in, I would hope.
