Hello all, I was making a magic item and wrote a description for how to attune to it, then came to realize that when you click on the finished product (not in a character sheet) it will say “requires attunement by a” and then your description proceeds. Example being “Requires attunement by a Studying it for 2 hours” and that bothers me because it limits what you can do for attunement to some extent. If they just got rid of the “a” everything would be fixed, and any sentence would work. So I’m suggesting that they change this.
Generally the requirement for attunement will be completed with either a specific class name or "a spellcaster" or in some cases "a divine" or "an arcane spellcaster". The description is worded that way because it is assumed you are using the standard method of attunement, detailed here. If your item requires a different attunement method that would be something to put in the item description.

Ah that makes more sense, I was a little salty that my sentence didn’t make sense. Thank you sir.
