Love DnD Beyond. Getting ready to manage my first campaign thereupon.
Two requests:
1) Add a button on the character sheet to add the character to a campaign that you own. Right now I have to e-mail myself a link in order to invite an NPC to a campaign. That feels pretty clunky.
2) Add the ability for the DM to restrict access to certain characters, i.e., NPC's. RIght now, my players can look at all my NPCs. The work around if for me to create an entire separate campaign to store NPC characters.
Player/DM unsolicited reply here: For adding unassigned characters to your campaign, instead of emailing, you can just copy the invite link and open it in your browser. For the NPCs, if you need to add them to your campaign, you can make them private instead of public. Your other players will still be able to see name, level, race, and class, but that's all they can see on the private setting. For the NPCs in my campaigns, I just leave them out of the campaign and access them from my characters page. I have a lot of characters made so to make it easier for me to find them I just name them "HotDQ Ch4 NPC" or something like that. Hope that helps.
