I see no way whatsoever to MAKE ENTIRELY NEW spell slots using sorcery points on dndbeyond.
I know I can "un-use" spell slots by ticking the box again, but I see no way to ADD more slots than I start with, which I absolutely should be able to do (not the other way around, no way to go above your max sorcery points).
I'm an elf who trance for 4 hours, so while the others are sleeping for an addition 4 hours, I plan to use 4 short rests on my sorlock to move between sorcery points and spell slots to give myself addition slots to start the day. Like a coffeelock, but not as broken and utterly legal and doesn't interfere with the adventuring day, just the unused part of the night.

That is a pretty min-maxed/power-gamer build. It gives you 10 level 1 spell slots per long rest at level 4.
I like it as a player, but I wouldn't blame any DM for disallowing it.
