I recently rolled up a Battle Master with Martial adept and stumbled upon a few issues.
1. The martial adept maneuvers do not show up in the actions tab
2. When clicked for details, the maneuvers in the action tab only have the following message instead of the description of the maneuver: "The maneuvers are presented in alphabetical order."
The option modifiers for feats aren't as robust (virtually nonexistent) as for subclasses or races. So it can't create custom actions. However, why why the same modifiers and functionality aren't available for any type of homebrew is beyond me.
The reason for this is because the maneuver options are separate class feature from the combat superiority feature which lists the rules for maneuvers.
The details you are looking for in both cases can be found in the features and traits section of the character sheet.
I know where the things are, however the system still comes off as illogical, that some but not all maneuvers are there, or that when querying for one specific maneuver, you have to get the rest as well.
Furthermore, I have recently started using a plugin that uses the data on dndbeyond to make the roll on any vtt on the browser, and when the tooltips/maneuvers are missing, everything becomes more complicated.
There's a homebrew overhaul coming, these current tools are just the dev tools with a quick and dirty UI slapped on top. They're not designed to be user friendly tools, but that improvement is coming.
