I don't know if I'm missing something, but I cant seem to find a way to make homebrew ammunitions. I was given homebrew magic arrows in the campaign I'm playing in. I'd like to create them in Beyond, but it only lets me build weapons. I can make a magic item based off of arrow of slaying, but it's still not doing what I want it to. I think there should be an easy way to create Magic Ammunition.
Yes, but when you create a new homebrew using Arrow of Slaying, you have to choose a weapon to base the magic item on and Ammo is not an option so you can choose Longbow, but it makes it a longbow.
Would you be willing to descibe what your arrows do specifically? I've been working a lot in their homebrew system for a bit now, I might be able to think of a creative solution.
This is going to sound dumb, but you might want to create your magic item as a Feat. The feat homebrew system is far superior to the item homebrew system.
For example, if you wanted to create shocking arrows, you could give you an action that has 20 uses... just set the number of uses to the number of arrows you currently have. This has the advantage of making it super easy to keep track of the number of special arrows you have, it also will show up under your actions page when in combat
This is going to sound repetitive, but have you considered using custom items? You can stack them. You can paste the effect text of the item in description. Ammo doesnt use a modifier. And onve you put it on the character once, it is saved even if you have 0 in your inventory.

Isn't an Arrow of Slaying a magic ammunition?
Nobody knows why you can't homebrew magic ammo, but you can't.
Since magic ammo doesn't have any modifiers it needs to track, you can always just make it a custom item on the character sheet.
I think devs have mentioned wanting to add it in the future, but that they need (or want) to fix something related to it first.

I'll try that. Thank You.
